Christmas crept up fast didn’t it? Felt like it was just last week that my eyes were hurt from rolling them so hard at all the Halloween insta stories. Now the lights are up, the holiday parties have begun and we are all starting to realize we have a little shopping to do.
Here’s the thing with buying for a man…keep it simple. Don’t try and blow him out of the water with something creative or unique, get him something he can actually USE. Something he wants to buy himself but either is being cheap or lazy. We sometimes get like that… If you’re gifting something he can wear, keep it classic so it can fit into his wardrobe seamlessly.
Here’s my top 5 gifts this holiday season!
1 | Remington DuraBlade SHOP HERE
While you ladies out there have eyebrows, nails, body shaving and all those other things you do, we just need a no nonsense shaver and trimmer for our handsome faces 🙂 Get him the best and something that is easy to maintain. The DuraBlade from Remington lasts nearly an hour on a charge, is light and simple to use, waterproof and best of all, gets the job right every single time. Every morning I trim my hair around the edges of my ears and my beard and with all the different clips, it allows me to create a gradual trimming fade up from my chin to my ears. Takes me about 90 seconds and your guy is going to appreciate being able to do the same. Oh, and no need to change the blades. Huge.
2| Aldo Sneakers SHOP HERE
Every man deserves a solid and ever growing sneaker collection. A lot of sneakers are very much a personal taste but some are simply must haves. Every man on the planet deserves a pair of blacked out sneakers to pair with either jeans or a suit for that casual look. Absolutely love these ones from Aldo. The fit is true and they look amazing with everything. Solid buy.
3| Club Monaco Tee SHOP HERE
I’m a sucker for grey tees and I’m a sucker for that classic CM logo so this tee is pretty much what I want to die and go to heaven in. Club Monaco always has very soft luxurious materials in their collection so you’re buying quality at a great price point. A great gift addition to those black sneakers from Aldo…
4| Carlos Ruiz Zafon Novels SHOP HERE
By far my favourite author. I’ve read almost every word he’s ever published and the only author I truly recommend. Zafon’s eloquence is like an addictive drug. He creates the most witty, romantic, sharp dialogue that will immediately make you appreciate the English language again. Add the Shadow of the Wind and The Angel’s Game to his stocking this year.
5| Artisan Blu from John Varvatos
Okay so gifting a fragrance is by far the riskiest one on this list BUT, this one is a must have to help build his collection. Most men have quite a few deep scents but this one from JV is incredibly refreshing and essentially the beach in a bottle. Also looks handsome on the shelf…
